AMAK oversees the registration of fund management professionals and carries out such other duties as notifying the public, conducting investigations, and providing guidance and recommendations to the industry in order to maintain stable management of trust assets. |

AMAK regulates public relations and advertising activities of the members, including the prohibition of false advertisement and excessive competition among the members in order to maintain order and rational development of the industry as well as to protect investors. |

AMAK makes recommendations and proposals to the government in connection with reforms, liberalization, and deregulation of the industry. It also implements government policies on behalf of the government within the scope of authority granted to it. |

AMAK conducts research, undertakes surveys, and publishes materials concerning the current state and prospects of the fund management industry. |

AMAK supports the staff of members and others by providing job training programmes to enhance the quality of human resources of companies related to the fund management industry. |
